Jesus is Appearing in Dreams Across Iran – A Former Senior Iranian Muslim Imam Reveals

My name is Ali Reza.
I was born in northern Tehran, the son of a respected Islamic scholar.
From a young age, I was immersed in the teachings of Islam.
By twelve, I had memorized the entire Quran.
In my neighborhood, they called me the “little mullah.”
I wore that title with pride.
As I grew older, I dedicated my life to the faith.
I studied at the elite Howzeh seminary in Qom, where I learned the intricacies of Islamic law and theology.
In my late twenties, I was leading prayers, preaching sermons, and teaching young men about the faith I held dear.
But deep down, questions began to stir within me.
I started noticing the harsh application of Islamic law.
I witnessed the suffering of those who dared to challenge the status quo.
I saw families torn apart for their beliefs, friends arrested for simply questioning the regime.
One day, I encountered an older believer who had been imprisoned for his faith.
Despite the torment he endured, he radiated a profound peace I had never seen among the most devout Muslims.
That moment shook me to my core.
How could he possess such tranquility in the face of suffering?
I began to question everything I had been taught.
I sought answers, but the more I searched, the more unsettled I became.
I turned to the internet, using a VPN to access forbidden texts.
I started reading the Bible in secret, each verse challenging my understanding of God.
I discovered verses about Isa (Jesus) that stirred something deep within me.
Why was He mentioned in our holy book?
What was the truth behind His teachings?
The more I read, the more I felt a pull toward Him.
Then came the dreams.
Vivid, powerful dreams where Jesus appeared to me.
In these encounters, He spoke my name.
He showed me the scars in His hands and declared, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Come, follow Me.”
Each dream left me breathless.
I felt an overwhelming sense of love and acceptance.
But I knew the cost of following Him.
In Iran, converting from Islam is punishable by death.
Apostasy is not just frowned upon; it is a death sentence.
Yet, I could not ignore the truth that was unfolding before me.
I made the decision to surrender my life to Christ.
It was a choice that would change everything.
I began living a hidden double life as an imam while secretly following Jesus.
I connected with underground believers, attending clandestine gatherings where we worshiped in fear but also in freedom.
I was baptized in a secret home gathering, surrounded by fellow believers who understood the risks we faced.
We prayed for one another, shared our testimonies, and celebrated the love of Christ in the shadows.
But my secret life could not remain hidden forever.
A trusted friend discovered my hidden Bible and reported me.
At three in the morning, security forces raided my home.
They stormed in, dragging me from my bed, their faces masked with anger.
“Ali Reza, you are under arrest for apostasy,” they shouted.
I was taken to Evin Prison, notorious for its brutal treatment of political prisoners and those accused of heresy.
The conditions were horrific.
For fourteen months, I endured solitary confinement, beatings, and sleep deprivation.
They tried to break me, to force me to recant my faith.
But in my darkest moments, Jesus appeared again.
He placed a hand on my shoulder and whispered, “I am here with you.
I will never abandon you.”
That presence sustained me through the torment.
I quietly shared my testimony with fellow prisoners, risking everything to offer them hope.
One young man, captivated by my words, surrendered his life to Christ in that cold, dark cell.
I was released under international pressure, but the scars of my experience ran deep.
When I returned home, I discovered that my wife, Fatima, had secretly met Jesus in her own dream.
She had surrendered to Him and lived as a hidden believer while praying for my release.
Our daughters soon followed, each encountering Jesus in their own way.
We were a family transformed by faith, but we were still living under the shadow of persecution.
Today, I serve in Iran’s underground church network, teaching new believers amid growing crackdowns.
I have seen the explosive growth of Christianity in Iran, despite the risks.
Estimates suggest there are between one to seven million secret Christians in our country, most drawn to Jesus through dreams and visions.
This movement is unstoppable.
Jesus is revealing Himself to those who seek truth, calling them by name when no human messenger can reach them.
I have witnessed firsthand the power of these supernatural encounters.
In a land where Bibles are banned and missionaries are forbidden, Jesus is breaking through the darkness.
He is appearing in dreams, offering hope to the hopeless.
I have heard countless stories of fellow believers who have experienced similar encounters.
Each testimony is a reminder that God is working in ways we cannot see.
As I stand here today, I urge you to pray for persecuted Christians in Iran.
Pray for those in prison, for those who live in fear of discovery.
Pray for the many quietly encountering Jesus in their dreams.
He is moving where it seems impossible.
My journey has not been easy, but it has been worth every sacrifice.
Jesus is worth everything.
He offers grace, love, and a peace that surpasses all understanding.
If you have ever questioned your faith, felt trapped by religion, or wondered if God is truly loving, I invite you to seek Him.
He is waiting for you, ready to embrace you with open arms.
I am living proof that even in the darkest places, His light shines brightest.
Together, we can create a world where faith is celebrated, where love triumphs over hate, and where every person is free to worship as they choose.
This is just the beginning of a powerful movement.
And I am excited to see where it leads.
For in Christ, I have found my true identity, my purpose, and my joy.
And I will carry that message of hope to the ends of the earth.
Jesus is appearing in dreams across Iran, and His love is transforming lives.
The story is far from over.
And I am just getting started.
